Tile installation

A tile job either lasts the life of the house or it doesn't. The difference is entirely in the substrate, the layout, and the hands.

Materials we work with

  • Porcelain and ceramic (small format through 24x48)
  • Natural stone — marble, limestone, travertine, slate
  • Cement and zellige tile
  • Glass and mosaic sheets
  • Large-format panels (up to gauged porcelain slabs)

Systems we install

  • Schluter Kerdi shower waterproofing
  • Schluter Ditra floor uncoupling & waterproofing
  • Nuheat, Warmup, and Ditra-Heat radiant floor systems
  • Traditional mud beds where appropriate
  • Anti-fracture membranes for slab-on-grade

Layouts, done properly

Balanced cuts

We plan the room off center so no wall ends on a sliver. Small cuts hide in inconspicuous places.

Level lippage

Every tile leveled with clips or by feel. Large format especially — no snag underfoot, no shadow lines.

Grout the right color

Tested on a spare tile in the room's light before we mix the wet batch. What you approve is what you get.

Have a tile scope you want done right?

Standalone tile work, showers, floors, and backsplashes — we take small jobs too.
