Amtrak Guest Rewards is a free loyalty program that lets you earn points toward reward travel, upgrades, gift cards, and more every time you ride. Points can be earned through Amtrak travel as well as through retail and specialty partners.

Members can reach higher tier levels — Select, Select Plus, and Select Executive — by earning Tier Qualifying Points through travel in Business class, Acela First class, or as an Amtrak Guest Rewards Mastercard cardholder. Our support team can help you join, check your points balance, claim missing points, or redeem your rewards.

Amtrak makes packing easy with generous baggage allowances. Each passenger may bring up to two carry-on bags and one personal item on board at no extra charge. You can also check up to two bags on routes where checked baggage service is available.
