Our Beer

From day one, we've been continuously improving our methods. We approach beer styles with curiosity about what makes each one great, and we've focused our attention on the ones that make us the happiest to drink.

While we've dabbled in just about every style from the common to the obscure, we now put most of our energy into lagers, IPAs, and stouts. We also produce saison and spontaneous ales under our sister brewery brand, Sovereign Brewing, located right down the road.

You won't find us making quick sours, slushies, milkshake IPAs, pastry stouts, or glitter beer, because we want nuance and balance. No circus beer here.

From a technical perspective, we have strong feelings about how to make the best beer. We spund everything, top crop our ale yeast for hundreds of generations, avoid transfers, and filter our lagers.

We make small changes when we vary our recipes so that we can continue to learn from our efforts. We avoid wild, thoughtless experiments in favor of refinement.

You can enjoy our beer on-site as pints and tasters, or take it home in growlers and crowlers (32 oz cans). If you're a bar or restaurant looking to carry our beer, we work with Stoup Distribution for all sales and distribution.
