About Us

Serving the Central District since 2013.

Our Story

Since 2013, we've been serving the Central District and the greater Seattle area beer, food, and cocktails made with intent and thoughtfulness.

At the risk of sounding a little too serious, we'd like to share our philosophy. In this world of over-hyped and thinly veiled marketing, our goal each day is to make something tangible that we can be proud of — the result of years of experience. To us, the steadfast, self-reflective, daily pursuit of improvement is a quiet rebellion in the era of social media and technology.

This approach applies to our public house as well. The human experience of meeting over food and drink is the noble pursuit of the public house, and if the world needs anything right now, it's a friendly place without judgment and angst, with real conversation and a good laugh. Let us share our hard work with you. Bring a friend or make one while you're here.

Good to Know Before You Visit

Are kids allowed?
Sorry — we are 21+ only, even if the child is very young.

Can I bring my pet?
We love animals, but our pub is a restaurant, and the health department doesn't allow pets in restaurants. This also applies to our patio.

Can I bring my bike inside?
No, but we have loaner locks if you forgot to bring one. Don't worry — it's very safe locked up outside.

Can I bring in outside food?
No. We have our own kitchen, and selling delicious food is part of what we do.

Can we reserve the entire space for an event?
We're happy to reserve some space for your group if we can fit you in, but we never close our doors to the public. Email us to set up a reservation for groups of 10 or more. For same-day inquiries, text the bar at (206) 535-1584.
