Our Story
Three Li'l Pigs Barbeque holds a special place in the hearts of Botetourt County and Roanoke residents. The story began way back in 1990, when the restaurant first opened its doors in the Roanoke City Market. Then in 2003, it found a new home in scenic and picturesque Botetourt County.
It was a leap of faith to take the restaurant to a new location, but the original owners, Bill and Dremma Gaul, entrusted Brian Tyree to carry on the tradition. Brian worked alongside the Gauls for over 15 years before taking over in 2019.
As a true native of Botetourt County, Brian — owner and master chef — has always been passionate about delicious BBQ and top-notch cooking. You can tell it's not just a business, but a labor of love. There's just something special and nostalgic about the place that brings folks back for more.
We use our own recipes, carry our own line of barbeque sauce, and smoke all of our own meat so you can be sure that every menu item is fresh, delicious, and satisfying.
