Teaching and Learning at Silverwood

Hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, and teachers who nurture each child's growth.

Our Classrooms

Silverwood's learning spaces are designed to spark curiosity and foster connection. Our campus includes several distinct classroom environments: The Barn, The Tree House, Lodge East, Lodge West, and The Farmhouse. Each space serves students at different stages of their journey from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

At Silverwood, learning happens with curiosity, joy, and care. Students thrive through hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, and the guidance of teachers who nurture each child's growth. By connecting with their environment, peers, and mentors, our students build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning every day.

Learning Beyond Walls

Outdoor learning is at the heart of the Silverwood experience. No matter the weather, students are actively exploring, creating, and discovering outside. From our outdoor shelters to the forest canopy, teachers guide children through Science, Art, First Peoples studies, History, Nature Walks, Play, and more—bringing learning to life across every corner of our campus.

Our Edventuring program takes learning even further, giving students the chance to engage with the wider world through field experiences and hands-on adventures that connect classroom lessons to real life.
