A Place for Dancers of All Ages
The Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet was established in 1974 to train students who wish to study the art of ballet and demand the very best dance training available. Founded by Margarita and John White, the school has grown into a place where thousands of students of all ages have been able to experience the challenges and joys of discovering the art of classical ballet.
Located on the Narberth Avenue bridge in the borough of Narberth, PA — just 25 minutes outside of Center City Philadelphia — PAB teaches the Vaganova method of classical ballet, one of the few schools in the U.S. with the expertise and structure to offer this gold-standard training.
With smaller class sizes and a faculty that strikes the perfect balance between warmth and discipline, our students build strong foundations and lasting friendships. PAB alumni go on to dance with leading companies and at top university programs.
