About Soul 2 Go

Founded in 2021, Soul 2 Go is a family-owned business driven by passion and culinary expertise. Led by partners Chef Will Hightower, Kevin D. Hightower, Keith J.D. Hightower, and Jerome H. Ross Jr., we set out to bring the rich culinary traditions of the South to Columbus, Ohio.

Under the creative direction of Chef Will, our menu celebrates classic soul food while introducing innovative fusions and twists that keep our customers coming back for more. One of Chef Will's most popular creations, the Soul Food Bowls, has quickly become a fan favorite — layered with buttermilk fried chicken, creamy mac and cheese, collard greens, and candied yams, all in one satisfying bowl of soulful goodness.

From our charming alley way entrance and brick road to the warm atmosphere with live music, we've built a place where everyone feels welcome. Our team takes pride in providing outstanding service and food that tastes like it was made at home — because it was made with the same love.

Soul 2 Go has grown to serve Columbus from multiple locations. Our Downtown location at 72 E. Lynn St offers dine-in, pickup, delivery, and catering. Our University District location at 1282 Essex Ave serves pickup, delivery, and catering. We also have a location in Gahanna at 134 N Hamilton Rd.
