Our Story

Supporting your journey to wellness since 2025.

How the Foundation Began

Established on October 31, 2025, by La-Trenda Ross, The R.E.L.L.E. Legacy Foundation provides vital support and financial assistance to individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. Named in honor of her five grandchildren—Razhonne, Evee, Lavender, Laylah, and Evan—the Foundation is built on strength, love, resilience, and legacy.

Inspired by La-Trenda Ross's journey as a breast cancer survivor and her decades of community service, the Foundation was created to address disparities in access to care, education, and life-saving resources, particularly within underserved communities.

About the Founder

La-Trenda Ross is the Founder and President of the R.E.L.L.E. Legacy Foundation and a Triple-Negative Breast Cancer survivor whose leadership is grounded in more than 30 years of community advocacy in Hudson County, New Jersey. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals and families through food access, senior and disability services, and community-centered programs rooted in dignity and equity.

Diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in December 2024, La-Trenda transformed her personal journey into purpose-driven action. Witnessing the financial, emotional, and practical challenges survivors face during and after treatment, she founded the R.E.L.L.E. Legacy Foundation to close those gaps.

Today, La-Trenda leads the Foundation's mission to provide direct financial assistance, food support, case management, wellness services, and survivor-centered community programs, ensuring no one navigates cancer alone and that healing extends beyond medical care.
