Rachel offers both in-person lessons at her home studio in Sausalito and virtual lessons via FaceTime. During COVID, she became an expert in virtual teaching, and now works with students from all over the country. Virtual lessons are a convenient way to enjoy piano instruction from the comfort of your own home.

Lessons are available for children, teens, and adults at all levels — from complete beginners to those returning to piano after many years.

Rachel's lessons provide a strong foundation in reading music, rhythm, technique, music theory, and overall musicianship. She teaches a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz and blues, popular songs, and music that reflects each student's personal interests.

For students interested in jazz and blues, Rachel offers improvisation instruction and hosts special Jam Night Recitals where students can explore playing in a more spontaneous, collaborative setting.
