Who We Are & What We Do

The Arizona Bar Foundation strives to prepare Arizona youth for civic responsibility and provide access to justice for Arizonans most in need. Through the provision of technical and financial assistance to probation and resource officers, teachers and administrators, private attorneys and judges, and legal service attorneys and advocates, the Foundation works to level the playing field so that all in Arizona have knowledge and access to the justice systems.

Whether you are an attorney looking to volunteer, an educator seeking law-related education resources, a financial institution needing IOLTA information, or someone who needs legal help, the Foundation connects you with the right resources and people.

Each year, the Foundation mobilizes hundreds of volunteers, assists thousands of individuals, and reaches hundreds of schools across the state. The impact is real, measurable, and growing — thanks to the generosity of donors, law firms, and community partners throughout Arizona.

Our Programs at a Glance

The Arizona Bar Foundation supports a wide range of programs that touch communities across the state. These include the Academy for Law Related Education, Legal Help Websites, the Modest Means Project, Connecting with Classrooms, the Legal Legacy initiative, Project Citizen, We the People, the Domestic Violence Project, the Pro Bono Portal, Wills for Heroes, AZ Kids Voting, AZ Mock Trial, and the Teen Court Association.

Through these programs, the Foundation addresses critical needs — from helping families navigate the legal system to inspiring the next generation of engaged citizens. Every program is built on the belief that justice and civic knowledge should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income or background.
