Perched on the shores of Alki in West Seattle, Marination Ma Kai is where Hawaiian-Korean fusion meets one of the best views in the city. We serve up scratch-based street food — think spicy, tangy, sweet, and aloha-laden — that's been brightening Seattle's days since 2009.

What started as a food truck called Big Blue has grown into a beloved restaurant ohana. Owners Kamala and Roz launched Marination fresh off the 2008 market crash, investing in a dream built on exquisite marinades, a lotta love, and smiles for miles. After millions of tacos and thousands of malasadas, we're still going strong.

At Ma Kai you'll find our full menu of tacos, sliders, kimchi rice bowls, fish and chips, and more — plus a full bar, waterfront patio, and weekend brunch from 9 AM to 2 PM. Walk-ins are always welcome; no reservations needed. Just show up, grab a seat, and soak in the view of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
