Since 1988, the Vigneau family has owned and operated The Round Hearth at Stowe — Vermont's most famous ski dorm. While the times have changed, the family has lovingly repurposed the building into The Round Hearth Café & Marketplace, a place where good food and unique treasures come together under one roof.
We serve breakfast and lunch all day, every day, from 8 AM until 2 PM. Whether you're warming up fireside after a morning on the slopes, enjoying mountain views from our outdoor seating, or browsing high-end antiques and local art while you wait for your meal, there's something here for everyone.
Our iconic round hearth — a beautiful hand-painted wood-burning fireplace right in the center of the café — is still alive and well. It pulls the whole space together and gives every visit that cozy, welcoming feeling that keeps folks coming back year after year.
