Classes & Learning at The Knitter's Edge

Whether you're brand new to yarn crafts or an experienced maker looking to expand your skills, The Knitter's Edge offers classes for every level. Beginner and advanced classes for both knitters and crocheters are offered on a weekly basis, with a variety of days and times to fit your schedule.

Specialty classes — including rigid heddle weaving, needlefelting, and specific technique workshops — are scheduled throughout the year. We also host knit-alongs (KALs) and crochet-alongs (CALs) through our Facebook group and as in-person classes, so there's always a community project to join.

Our teachers are warm, patient, and skilled at working with groups of all sizes. Whether it's a small session of two or three students or a larger class of a dozen, you'll get the personal attention you need to learn and grow. Many of our students tell us they come for the classes and stay for the friendships.

Please note: classes are cash only, but we accept cards and Apple Pay for all other in-store purchases. Visit our website for the current class calendar and to sign up.

In-Store Help & Extras

You don't need to sign up for a class to get help at The Knitter's Edge. Our floor staff is always available to assist with pattern selection, yarn substitutions, fixing mistakes, or deciphering confusing instructions. We're here to make sure your project turns out just the way you want it.

We also carry a large and varied button selection, knitting and project bags of all shapes and sizes, and every notion, needle, or hook a knitter or crocheter could think of. And if you've found a pattern on Ravelry, we can often help you purchase it right in the shop.
