About The Brinery

From food truck to Main Street — a Sharpsburg story.

Our Story

The Brinery got its start on a food truck, serving up creative comfort food to hungry Pittsburghers. Over time, the demand grew, the menu expanded, and we made the leap to a brick-and-mortar home at 914 Main Street in Sharpsburg, PA.

Our restaurant has the feel of a classic old-school diner — black-and-white checkered floors, bright red tabletops, and local artwork hanging on the walls (which is also for sale, by the way). We keep things clean, welcoming, and relaxed. There's cold water available for every customer, and the owner is usually right there greeting folks as they walk in.

We take pride in making food that's creative but honest. Our menu pulls from different traditions — Filipino-style banana ketchup on our Graceland sandwich, honey feta on our Brussels sprouts, gaijing sauce on our fried chicken skins — but everything is rooted in the kind of hearty, satisfying cooking that makes you want to come back.

We also host special events and pop-ups from time to time, like our Cinco de Mayo celebration. If you're in the neighborhood, come say hello. We love meeting new faces and catching up with the regulars.
