Our Story

Jeff and Jacqui Ward are first generation farmers and vineyard owners who turned their passion for the natural world into Monarch Meadow Vineyard. Located along State Route 534 in Geneva, Ohio, the vineyard sits in the heart of the Grand River AVA — one of Ohio's premier wine-growing regions.

From the very beginning, their mission has been clear: work with Nature, support local agriculture, and create a place where guests feel genuinely welcome. Every bottle of wine produced at Monarch Meadow features only Ohio-grown grapes, reflecting the unique characteristics of the local terroir.

Beyond winemaking, the Wards are committed to environmental stewardship. Their Monarch Butterfly conservation initiative, glass and food recycling programs, and commitment to locally procured food offerings all reflect a deep respect for the land and community they call home.
