Our Story
Crow City Books sits at 144 Genesee Street in downtown Auburn, New York. We're an independent bookshop built around the idea that reading should expand your mind, build empathy, and strengthen community.
Our shelves reflect that mission. You'll find titles centering women's voices, LGBTQIA+ stories, Black history, and community action alongside popular fiction, vintage books, and bestsellers. We believe every reader deserves to see themselves — and the wider world — in the pages they pick up.
Beyond books, we're connected to Auburn Book Bonanza, our book donation center at Fingerlakes Mall. Donations of gently used books are always welcome, and proceeds help support local Central New York nonprofits. This year we're proud to feature Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Auburn Chapter.
