Our Story
Danny's Fabric & Yarn is a family business through and through. Danny and his family opened the shop to serve the crafting community in Glasgow and the surrounding area. When the nearest JoAnn Fabrics closed, local sewers, quilters, and yarn enthusiasts were left without a convenient place to shop. Danny's stepped in to fill that need — and quickly became a beloved destination.
What sets us apart is simple: we take the time to get to know you and your projects. Danny is a crocheter himself, so he understands the craft from a maker's perspective. The whole family takes an active role in the shop, and they genuinely enjoy helping customers find the right materials and talking through ideas.
We believe a good fabric and yarn shop should feel like a community gathering place — somewhere you can browse at your own pace, ask questions, and leave feeling inspired. That's what we aim for every single day.
Customers regularly tell us they drive 40 miles or more to shop here, and that kind of loyalty means the world to us. We work hard to keep our shelves well stocked, our prices fair, and our service personal.
